Reconciliation for Children
Children eligible for preparation for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation should plan on registering with the Office of Faith Formation in October. Our invitation goes out to children who are in grade 2 or above and who meet the requirements for eligibility. Those requirements include: being a registered member of The Church of St. Mark, being enrolled in a formal Religious Education program through either a Catholic school or parish the year prior to and, being currently enrolled in a formal religious education program through a Catholic school or here at The Church of St. Mark. Children will celebrate their First Reconcilation as a group during Lent.
First Eucharist for Children
Children eligible for preparation for the Sacrament of First Eucharist should plan on registering with the Office of Faith Formation in January. Our invitation goes out to children who are in grade 2 or above and who meet the requirements for eligibility. Those requirements include: being a registered member of The Church of St. Mark, being enrolled in a formal Religious Education program through either a Catholic school or parish the year prior to and, being currently enrolled in a formal religious education program through a Catholic school or here at The Church of St. Mark. Children will celebrate their First Eucharist as a group in the Spring or individually at regularly scheduled Masses through the month of May.
