Youth Ministry helps to connect youth and their families with the resources to actively grow deeper in and live out their faith. We in the office of youth ministry are committed to an organic catechesis of the entire family specifically focused on youth grades 6-12.
This Organic catechesis is achieved through many avenues and is always dynamic. Remaining faithful to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and always Christocentic; we  believe in Jesus Christ  the God who loves us and wish to lead everyone into a deeper more personal relationship with Him, the Incarnation.
Keeping in mind the vision of the United States Bishops(USCCB) for youth ministry as outlined in their document Renewing the Vision A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry it is our desire to help the youth and their families reach their potential as active, practicing, Catholics living out their relationship with Jesus Christ. The 3 Major goals set forth by the USCCB are:

  1. To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today
  2. To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community
  3. To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

We Achieve these goals through a variety of ways. Many of which are open to all youth grades 6-12.

  1. Religious Education Classes: Helping our youth to better understand the Doctrines, Dogmas, Traditions, and Liturgy of the Catholic Church. Grades 6-8
  2. Confirmation Preparation: Starting at the end of the 8th grade school year and continuing through Freshman year of high school this program is designed to help youth prepare for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation and entrance into a fully functional and active adult life in the Catholic Church. This is done through
    1. Classes
    2.  Prayer Services
    3.  Service Projects
    4.  A Weekend Retreat
    5.  As well as other social activities connecting our youth to the whole parish community.
  3. Youth Group: COMING SOON! Will be available in both a middle school and high school variety. A great way to connect with other youth of the parish and the Fallston/Bel Air area. Will Include:
    1. Catechesis: Learning more about our Catholic Faith
    2. Scripture Study: Diving deeper into the love affair of humanity and God.
    3. Hot Topic Nights: Tough issues faced by our youth today that will be addressed in a respectful yet candidly truthful manner.
    4. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: It’s God Incarnate, ‘nuff said.
    5. Social Justice Projects: Serving those in need.
    6. Social Time: Time to just kick it with other youth, build and work on relationships and have fun.
    7. Fun Trips: That’s right, we’ll schedule some time in to just get away and have fun with other youth.
  4. Peer Ministers: A group of post confirmation youth who have shown great leadership abilities and willingness to serve and function as a “core team” of youth to help out at the parish and develop their leadership and service skills.
